No – there is no cost to apply for nextWAV. if you are selected for the programme, we cover travel, accommodation and per diem costs to participate in all the sessions for you and one parent or guardian.
Yes – if you are selected for the programme all travel and accommodation costs for each session are covered for the participant and their one parent or guardian.
nextWAV. programme dates and locations are as follows:
Session 1:
September 28 – October 9 2026 – in person in Auckland NZ.
October 5 – 9 follow ups via Zoom.
Session 2:
January 18 – 22, 2027 – in person in Auckland, NZ
January 2027 follow ups via Zoom.
Session 3:
April 13 – 18, 2027 – in person in Auckland, NZ
April 2027 follow ups via Zoom
Session 4:
July 5 – 9, 2027 – in person in Auckland, NZ
July 12 – 16 2027 follow ups via Zoom
Yes – the programme is designed within school holidays.
Yes – communication and support from guardians is part of the programme and if you are selected, a parent or guardian must be present for all programme workshops.
